10 Weekly Spiritual Habits: A Guide to Cultivation

(7th-12th Grades)

Weekly Gatherings

FBC Terrell Student Ministry is designed to know, follow, share, and love God , as well as love others, by equipping students and leaders, through teachings, prayer, and Scripture, to grow in Him and worship God in their family, church, and community.

FBC Terrell Student Ministry longs to see God heal, redeem, and free students as they trust Jesus personally. We believe God will birth something beautiful and redemptive in this broken world through their surrendered lives as they bear witness to the goodness of Jesus throughout the world.
We live in a world that promises freedom but often leaves us feeling trapped—trapped by the pressure to perform, the need to fit in, and the weight of our own mistakes. But what if "freedom" isn’t about doing whatever you want? What if it’s about becoming exactly who you were created to be?

This DNow, we are diving into the theme Alive and Free. We’re going to look at what it means to step out of the grave of our old lives and walk in the wide-open space of God’s grace. No more chains. No more heavy burdens. Just the life you were meant for.

Don’t miss this weekend. It’s time to break free.

Let’s be honest: New Year’s Resolutions usually fail by January 15th.

Why? Because we rely on willpower instead of a plan. We try to run a spiritual marathon without ever training for it. We wait for a crisis or a guilt-trip to get serious about our faith, and then we burn out.

It’s time to stop trying harder and start training smarter.

Based on 1 Timothy 4:7 ("Train yourself to be godly"), we are spending the next 50 days building spiritual muscle—one text message at a time.
