During this extraordinary time of families having more time together, we are seeking to help provide resources to build on the opportunity this presents. We have these links posted on our Children's Ministry web page, but you'll find something for everyone in the family - kids, parents, and even grandparents. (Grandparents, check out items in @Home Family Ministry that are designed specifically for Grands.)
Thank you for taking time to learn about First Baptist Church of Terrell. We welcome you and invite you to find out more about who we are and join with us in ministry to our community.
Our desire as a church is to help people encounter God, become equipped as believers, and be empowered for ministry. We boldly proclaim that Jesus Christ is the only source of eternal life as well as forgiveness, direction and joy for life today. This unchanging message of faith is proclaimed in worship and under-girds all we do.
While FBC was started in 1876, it has consistently sought to remain faithful to the needs of each new generation. Today, we seek to honor the Lord by ministering to every member of the family. We are committed to helping families succeed.
We believe Jesus is Lord. What is important to Him is important to us. That includes you and your family. As God leads, come be part of a changing church with an unchanging message.
In His Service,
John Lowrie, Senior Pastor
From arrival to departure, we want your experience at FBCT to be one that will cause you to want to return to be with us week after week. We have designated parking for guests and parents with young children. Our Welcome Center will help you locate Bible study groups, the nursery, restrooms, and any other questions you may have. We have a brief guest reception after each service that includes snacks, a gift item for our guest families, and a few minutes to meet and talk with some of our staff team. So come be our guest and feel free to let us know how we can help make your FBC experience one worth returning to.
