JP has grown up in Terrell all his life. As he grew older he felt God calling him to Student Ministry and the summer after graduating high school in 2017 he surrendered his life to God's calling. After graduating high school, he felt the Lord leading him to a season of preparation for ministry and found himself at Dallas Baptist University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies. JP is now pursuing his MDiv at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. In December of 2018, he took over as an interim youth minister , and in June 2019, JP was called to be the Minister of Youth and Recreation. In January of 2020, JP married the love of his life Kathryn, and the two of them live in Terrell, Texas. JP loves chips and salsa, baseball, and his dogs Melvin & Winston.
