WORSHIP AT FIRST BAPTIST
Worship at FBC Terrell is more than just one experience on one day during the week. Our goal is to practice the true meaning of worship: to praise and honor Christ in everything that we say and do, in every moment of each day. Throughout the week, the worship ministry is in constant motion, just as our worship is to be. From any time of corporate worship during the week, to singing in the choir or playing an instrument, there are many ways to get involved. We invite you to join us and experience God’s goodness in worship.
WAYS TO SERVE
Worship Choir
Our Worship Choir rehearses Wednesdays at 6:30 pm in the choir room. Led by Caleb Uhl, Minister of Music and Media, the choir helps lead worship on Sunday mornings during the 10:30 am worship service, as well as special presentations for Easter and Christmas. High Schoolers thru Adults are welcomed to join at any time!
Worship Band, Orchestra & Praise Team
The Worship Band, Orchestra, and Praise Team rehearse on Sunday mornings at 8:30 am in the Worship Center. These teams help lead worship on Sunday mornings during the 10:30 am worship service, as well as special presentations for Easter and Christmas. Potential members interested in joining the Worship Band must meet with the Minister of Music and Media before joining, and we ask all Praise Team members to be members of the Worship Choir as well. High Schoolers thru Adults are welcomed to join the orchestra, but we do ask for 3 years of orchestra or concert band experience.
Media
This group of faithful volunteers help us run our media ministry during worship and special events. Media helps us bring a sense of oneness and direction to the flow of worship, and we are thankful for those that serve in this area. If you want to serve on our media team, contact us!
Worship Arts for Kids (WAK)
We also have our Children’s Music Ministry called “Worship Arts for Kids”! This ministry has a focus to teach children about worship and why we sing! We learn hymns and worship songs, fun songs and games, and activities that help build up the next generation of worshipers and worship leaders! This group is for children ages 5 (Kindergarten) thru 6th Grade, and they meet on Sunday afternoons from 4:00-4:45 in the choir room! For more information, contact Caleb!
