Speaker - Cyndy Gusler

Cyndy Gusler was born and raised a Michigan gal, but has been a southern belle since 1999. A former middle school and drama teacher, Cyndy renewed her passion for writing and has been teaching ladies Bible studies for over 20 years in Cypress, Texas and served as a Ministry Director for 3 years. Cyndy is fully committed to mentoring and encouraging women to become sisters in Christ - seeking Him in all they do and say! Out of seasons of Child abuse, abandonment, and struggling to find her value in a forever changing world, she walks today as a confident daughter of the King. Establishing a family and home life founded in faith is one of her utmost goals for every women she meets!

Her hobbies include cooking, reading, theater, board games, and laughing hysterically! As the Gusler Queen Bee, she has been married to Jay since 1995 and is a busy mom to Taylor, Nicholas, and Benjamin.

Cyndy proclaims to be just an "everyday woman desire to be used in an extraordinary way." Her deepest desire is for all women to seek Him, know Him, and call Him "Abba" (Daddy)!

Worship - Anita Brister

Anita’s gift for music was evident at an early age as she started singing and playing in church in the pineywoods of East Texas. Anita was the middle of three girls and each of them were made by their parents to take two years of piano lessons. She understands that this set her on the musical path she now knows and lives every day.

Anita grew up in church watching her father play guitar and mother sing gospel songs in a trio. She picked up her first guitar at age six and bass guitar at age twelve. She played in multiple groups growing up with various styles including gospel, contemporary christian, country, as well as other types of secular music. Anita graduated college with a degree in music and a Master’s degree in counseling. With a mixture of playing by ear and being formally trained, Anita was the church pianist throughout her high school and college years and this laid the foundation for singing and leading praise and worship.   She has been a soloist and harmony singer throughout the years in both blended and contemporary worship.

Anita loves to lead with just a simple vocal and a piano. There is a powerful message in an uncomplicated lyric about the love of Jesus. She believes the story of redemption should be in every aspect of our worship. Her gracious style invites an easy rapport for everyone to join together in song and lift up Christ’s name through praise.
