God created us for a purpose. He wants to have a relationship with us. And He's provided a way to make that possible. We want to help adults live in the fullness of a redeemed life that God desires. The ministries of our church are designed to help adults encounter God, initially through Christ Jesus, and then at ever-deepening levels. Our ministries are also designed to equip believers for growing spiritually and serving in ministry. And our church is designed to help believers be empowered into ministry. If God has brought you here, He has a place and a purpose for you in the body of Christ that is First Baptist Church.
LifeGroups
Sundays | 9:15 AM
LifeGroups are great places to get connected with others and involved in ministry, wrapped around weekly Bible study. Classes are generally grouped by age to help provide entry points with those at a similar place in life. We encourage beginning with an age-grouped class that meets your situation, then explore others as needed until you find what is comfortable for you.

The Women's Ministry of First Baptist Church exists to lead women to accept Christ as Lord and Savior, to encourage women to discover their God-given gifts, and to equip women to enrich the lives of other women through Christ Jesus, our Lord.
Women play a variety of roles in the Bible: strong leaders, devoted servants, loving help mates, powerful prayer warriors, compassionate ministers, nurturing mothers. Our women's enrichment ministry seeks to help women minister to other women in identifying, understanding, and empowering them in the roles God has called them to.
Women's Ministry offers a variety of events and ministry activities that allow women to interact, grow relationships, and grow in Christ.

Annual Above the Waves Retreat
October 9-11, 2026
We're headed to the beach for a refreshing time of fellowship, relaxation, and time in the Word. The retreat program begins Friday evening and ends Sunday afternoon. Open to women 20+ years of age.

SENIOR ADULTS
The Senior Adult Ministry "The Classics" serves those individuals 55 and better by offering opportunities for fellowship, service, growth, and adventure. The Classics is a very active part of the First Baptist family.
Join us for our monthly Fun, Food, and Fellowship the SECOND Thursday of each month at 11:15 am in the ROC dining Room. Bring a covered dish and enjoy the games, the people and the food! The Classics love to travel and attend area events. This includes day trips to some great area locations as well as an annual long trip or two to explore our country and share fellowship along the way.
