For better or worse, popular movies shape our opinions and beliefs in powerful ways. Most teens and many children list watching movies as one of their favorite activities. So how can we use movie-watching in an intentional way to benefit our families? Movies@Home is designed to help!

Movies@Home helps parents:

   1. Select wisely

  2. Watch intentionally

  3. Discuss openly

Use the samples in the Movies@Home kit to watch and then talk with your kids about suggested movies. After watching a few and discussing using the guide sheets, you'll be ready to take on other movies as well. Some of the suggested movies are available through our church library.

So pick-up your Movies@Home kit at the @Home Center along with a free bag of popcorn, and sit down with your family to watch a movie with meaningful intention.

Post on Facebook to share about your family movie experiences using #fbcmoviesathome to be eligible for monthly gift card drawings.

@Home Resources

@Home is a ministry of FBC designed to help build strong families. We desire to build a culture of intentional families by:

  • Making it easy
  • Making it more likely
  • Providing "next steps"

More Resources for Parents

We believe God designed the family to be the primary disciple-making relationship. In other words, God gave parents the privilege of nurturing faith in the next generation. That's why we have Faith Path. It provides a step-by-step plan to help you be intentional as a parent, using key milestones to foster spiritual disciplines in your child's faith journey. Access resources for two of the parent kits using the links below. Or, you can stop by the @Home Center in the glass hallway on the main campus and pick these up.
