Worship at FBC Terrell is more than just one experience on one day during the week. Our goal is to practice the true meaning of worship: to praise and honor Christ in everything that we say and do, in every moment of each day. Throughout the week, the worship ministry is in constant motion, just as our worship is to be. From any time of corporate worship during the week, to singing in the choir or playing an instrument, there are many ways to get involved. We invite you to join us and experience God’s goodness in worship.
10:30 am Morning Worship
Worship combines various elements such as our worship choir, piano and various instruments, praise team, and a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary songs that allows the freedom to worship as God leads. Worship teaching is led by our Senior Pastor as he brings a fresh word from the Lord. We encourage those who participate in this service to also join us in one of our many LIFE groups or Sunday School classes that meet before this service. These groups begin at 9:15 am. At FBCT, you will find a variety of dress from very casual, to some in coat and tie. However, what you wear does not matter. We encourage all to come as you are, and join us for worship.
Our Adult Worship Choir rehearses Wednesdays at 6:30 pm in the choir room located in room 111. Led by Russell Shaw, Minister of Music, the choir helps lead worship on Sunday mornings during the 10:30 am worship service, as well as special presentations for Easter and Christmas. Everyone is welcome to join at any time!
Worship Orchestra & Praise Team
The Orchestra rehearses on Sunday mornings at 8:30 am with the worship band and praise team on the Worship Center stage. The orchestra helps lead worship on Sunday mornings during the 10:30 am worship service, as well as special presentations for Easter and Christmas. Everyone is welcome to join at any time, but middle school playing experience is preferred. If you are interested in serving with our worship team, contact our Minister of Music, Russell Shaw at email@example.com.
Our group of handbell ringers love to bring a special element to our worship services throughout the year. If you are interested in this group, you may contact our Minister of Music, Russell Shaw at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This group of faithful volunteers help us run our technical equipment during worship time and special events. Technology helps us bring a sense of oneness and direction to the flow of worship, and we are thankful for those that serve in this area. If you are interested in these groups, you may contact our Minister of Music, Russell Shaw at email@example.com.
