10 Weekly Spiritual Habits: A Guide to Cultivation

Outside the Tomb (Day 5)

"Come and see," -Matthew 28:6

Every day, God reveals Himself to us in countless ways, but we often overlook these revelations because we're too preoccupied with the busyness of life. However, if we take a moment to pause and reflect, we'll realize that God is actively involved in our lives, revealing Himself in ways that are personal and meaningful to us.

In Matthew 7:7-8, Jesus says, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." This verse reminds us that God wants us to seek Him and ask Him for guidance, and He promises to reveal Himself to us when we do.
God reveals Himself to us through His word. When we read the Bible, we get to know God's character, His will, and His promises. Through the Scriptures, God speaks to us and teaches us how to live according to His will.

God also reveals Himself to us through prayer. When we pray, we communicate with God and invite Him to speak to us. As we listen to Him, He guides us, comforts us, and reveals His plans for us.

God reveals Himself to us through other people. Sometimes, God uses the people around us to speak to us, encourage us, or challenge us. When we listen to others, we may hear God's voice speaking through them.

God reveals Himself to us through circumstances. The events and situations we face each day may be part of God's plan to reveal Himself to us. When we look at our circumstances through the lens of faith, we may see God's hand at work, guiding and shaping us.

In conclusion, God reveals Himself to us each day in personal and meaningful ways. As we seek Him, listen to Him, and trust Him, we'll see Him at work in our lives. Let us be open to God's revelation, and may we always seek to know Him more deeply.
